I’ve been told that the NEC e122 mobile phone is capable of data communication with a PC.
I need the pin functions of the 18 pin output section so that I can wire up a working cable. Does anybody know this phone and can you help, please?

Is it clear to see on the Samsung (or other connectors?) which solder tags correspond to which pin number, and do you need to make a 5v connection?
What’s the wiring for the Samsung A200/R220 cable? If this cable complete is inexpensive perhaps it’s simpler to buy it and just modify, what do you recommend?

If I want to wire the e122 up to a computer via a 9 pin serial connector don’t I need a request to send, clear to send, etc, connections to the phone plug to facilitate an RS232 connection? Or there is there a simpler way?
