im trying to unlock samsung a517 from AT&T but im not able to ...... what am i doing wrong ? i tried deferent com ports i tried all modules but the only one its seems detecting the phone is the ( normal mode ) ..... plz help

why the screen shot? u have all the info in my original post ..... and by the way i did use samsung 3g online code reader 2.51

screenshot needed for software version, which option you select and which ports you select, so we will see all these things in screenshot

try to use combo mode and port1 is samsung usb modem and 2port is select com/usb to com where u put rj45 connector

but phone wouldnt be detected in combo mode ....... i dont think the box can unlock this model ..... i alrady seen few peoples with the same prblem with the same type of phone ....... why dont u show us a screen shot for a succesfull unlock 4 this model?
I confirm that this model is supported with EU box
try to change the com port in combo mode
I had a same problem that I solved by changing com port

phone is 100% supported on EU box, use search button all instruction have this section!!!
