yes i have 3 different unlockers for iphone, prefer ziphone for easy use BUT .. new 3G version (3g iphone not supported...YET);)

isnt this a question of common sense. If the iPhone was NOT sim locked then why would it not be available from leading mobile phone resellers like Carphonewarehouse all over Europe.

Also, if it was unlocked then why would Apple go through the headache of cutting deals with different GSM service providers in each country to launch the phone. They would simply put it in the open market for everyone to buy and sell for...

The 3G can not be Unlocked,it is Sgold3 with no Bootloader Bug and new Baseband
We Work on it but an Unlock will avaible in around 3 Months

Ziphone and other tools wont work on iPhone 3G because Ziphone uses the Bootloader Bug to start Unsigned Ram disk,this bug is not in the 3G iPhone,only in old iPhone

at the moment u don't have the data sheet of Sgold3 .How you can think next 3 months the 3G can be crack?

Think about this=
Apple will sell 8g(black),16g (silver) 3g only $199(8g) ,they price almost $175(8g).How they make money from sold $199?the main Apple makes money from news 3g Iphone are= data from ATT,data from mobileme,games....(they get percent from these) i think 30%.Then Apple won let crackers to crack 3G Iphone easy like first release.But maybe sim possible.

I think next 6 months may have solution for sim only.Don't think about software unlock from 3G.Most important is that Apple and ATT won sell 3G without activation(voice plan+data $30/month)

ziphone and others are patching the new 3G basebands with old bootloader,and be sure Apple is not fool eneough to put all the new security in beta firmwares,you know what i mean:D so in my opinion first solution will come from China with a sim product,yes it will be sim solution.because its easier to patch the firmware than finding an exploit in new bootloader. get ready guys..

if your question is for me here is the answer:
new 2.0 firmware will work on all iphones and itouches,means all hardwares will be supported.both old and new phones will have same baseband with same fw.but new hardware phones will have new bootloader,this is the point.its not possible to make an online bootloader upgrade for old phones,and Apple doesnt care about the old ones unlocked or not,cause there is no possibility to make money with those phones.all income will be from new phones so there is new hw and new bootloader on new phones very simple.they will make money with 24 month contracts so security will be very very hard to break,im sure.

3G is Sgold3 with the same old CPU from iPhone 1,Basebandchip Updated to more ROM,Shieldieng is now Soldered,Old (unusable) Testpoint is not Reachablea anymore
Display etc. are the same as in Old iPhone,just little changes on Mainboard for 3G and A-GPS

PS:Big Thanks to the Guy who send me the Sgold3 Full Datasheet (he want to stay Anonymous),it will help us a lot to find an Unlock

you are wrong buddy,check your sources again.none of the 2g phones have new bootloader after sw update with itunes7.7,and we can downgrade baseband after bricking with fw 2.0 bootloader stays 3.9
