5110 Major Firmware Face Lift

1. Download this file, 5110 by bglan, at http://www.ed2k.com.ph/ed2k_files .the zip file contains the flash and a txt file listing all the modifications made.

2. flash the file to your 5110 (start address is 0x20), guys don't use it on a 5110i, using dejan, rolis, xpmobile or whatever flashing tool your comfortable with.

3. update flash authority identification using nokiatool by rolis. i tried bphreaks and koci but it doesn't work.

4. restore factory setting on the phone.

5. enjoy.

hi mate i love the flash file but i have a problem

i flash it to a old 5146 with rolis flashtool then updated faid ect ect wioth rolise again and same thing every time no network ??

any idea why mate coz i love the work u did specially the yellow pages bit thats just damn funny

Hi

5146 is a Nokia 5130 one to one Version and is GSM1800.

Flash it with 5130 ( NSK-1 ) Flash and Phone is working again.

okay cheers but that is very wierd cos it had 5.30 5110 software on it anyway and it worked fine and the flash is a modified 5110 5.30 flash pack

hello mate, this one's exclusively for the nokia 5110. you cant flash it to othe 51 series phone like the 5130 and 5146.

I flash my 3310 with a modified flash from your site,3310v579 project tap, now phone is dead, will flash but won't power on, what could be the problem?
