hi all,
i have a motorola v3
problem is when i connect battery automatically power on
every thing ok
but only power button does not work
need help

try another flatcable if not chek 4 water damage on the small crystal ic's near flat connector

i had the same problem mate, and i change the flex cable's connector and all was good, but first taste with other flex

First check the capacitor c1420 ,it should be 3.3 v and above.also make sure the connector clean ,no any liquid erosion around c1420,if clean and v<3.3 v try to pull it up ,referring the pic attached by other guy's...

where did u get this pic.?! :) I think you really understand how it works.unfortunately not too many ppl knowhow about it....
this a universal method to fix defective IC pin without change it .give u one hint ,you can fix motorola ROKR keypad issue via the same way.....

i have a keypad fix flex which i use to write into the phone with rsd and phone will work perfectly, i downloaded from motox.info but i'm at home now, i will upload to all members tomorrow when i get to office!
