I have just brought a motorola v3 that was unlocked. It works perfectly but has bits of vodaphone network on that i dont want because my provider is Virgin. It has vodafone live on it which when i try to use comes up with the error (GPRS NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE) and cant be used .My question is can i get rid of all the vodafone stuff safely and how do i do it. Please remember i am a complete noob when it comes to mobiles so full expanations would be appreciated.

no it wont. there is a long procedure that you are supposed to do if you want your phone to support jar or jad games.
