Seems, the news haven't come to this forum yet so I just wanted to inform you that Nokia maps 2.0 has been successfully h*cked!

As it is not legal, i think, i won't give a download link but anyone who knows how to use g**gle is gonna find it!

I tried it, works fine for me...

1st: It's no "fuccking thing"

2nd:
1) Install Licence.Manager.Pro.v6.16_signed.sis
2) Install Nokia.Maps.v2.0.2602.S60.v3.SymbianOS9.1.Unsigned. Cracked-illusion.sis
3) If you haven't done so far, download Nokia Maps Loader from the Nokia Homepage and choose the maps you want to use on your phone.
4) Open Maps, search a street and choose "Navigate To". If asked to buy the navigation click on "Download" or whatever there is. Now, you only have to choose your map and there you go...
Note: You won't be charged any money!

I just removed the the programs that i installed which was x-plore capps on etc but i'm not sure if that if that then restores the security.I only installed them to get the maps working.One problem i have is that the maps are VERY SLOW it seems to take ages just calculating a simple 1/2 mile route to the local shop i am there before it has calculated!

I cant' install Nokia Maps 2 to my N80 but Nokia Maps 1.2 works fine. Is there any way to get the version 2 to install?

got mine spot on, it works flawlessly, before it couldn't find any satelite (waiting for gps), then i started route66 which connected like 3secs, then back to nokia map and it even beat route66 connecting to gps it was like a second from inside my room. so no complaint at the moment guys.

@ricki2007: Restoring the security:
If you used B*nPDA's SecMan you just have to open it, go to options and choose "Turn Plat. security ON"

If you used "HelloCarbide" you should leave it as is cause you now have the ability to install any unsigned application. If you don't need that, you have to delete "installserver.exe" located in C:\sys\bin and - naturally - HelloCarbide (which should be in your programs folder).

@andru: AFAIK known issue, not solved yet.

@rogerpe: Have you tried installing the original nokia maps 2.0 from the nokia homepage? You should do so BEFORE installing the cr*cked one!

in-f*ing-credible good cr*ck. Just follow the instructions and everything goes ok (i had Nmaps pre-installed, i installed HelloCarbide to allow unsigned applications, then the License Manager and Nmaps cr*ck). I have a nokia n78.

I have a Nokia N75 and it is not compatible with Nokia Maps 2.0. The N93, N80, N77, N73, N72 and N70 fall in the same category. When installing either the official or the cracked version the phone states that the software is incompatible and asks whether you want to continue anyway, or not. If I continue with the installation, it finishes but then it never starts, even after power cycling the phone.

Is there a way to make Nokia Maps 2.0 work with these phones?
Is there a cracked version of Nokia Maps 1.2?

I've got a problem. it all installed fine and it finds gps and everything but it dosen't stop calculating the route...I had it on for 20min and it still said calculating...any ideas?

Try to update your N75 software.

I entered all 1's for the product key for the 1.2 version (ie 11111-11111-ect, and it accepted it.

Did you bypass the license manager somehow? Please explain in detail where you entered this product key.

I entered "all the ones" through the normal license procedure (No funny business). I did how ever try many other options before this procedure. ie installing ver2 etc. So it might have to do with some of the cracks I tried before. This was all done on the 28 August 2008 so it might have changed since then.

Guys, i installed the cr*ck on my n78 and it works fine, JUST that when i connected the first time to download maps via MapLoader it erased all previously (from v1.2) installed maps - seems like nokia designed the v2 of the application to connect to the server each time you visualize maps or create routes -> bad news! However, i tricked'em by formatting the phone (i got maps v1.2 again), then downloaded the necessary maps and only after that i installed the v2. Nice....BUT this means each time i format the phone (due to my experiments) or when nokia updates the maps (i think they'll keep doing it for a while because there are still many users of mobiles only supporting v1.2, right?), so, each time i'll have to format/download maps/install cr*cked v2 -> does anyone have a better idea?
I'm particularly interested in updating maps:
- how do you know when nokia updated some maps u are interested in?
- can we update the nokia maps with info regarding speed cameras?
- has anyone any idea on how often/for how long nokia will update maps? - or maybe is there a way we could use some other maps instead of those provided by nokia? (considering the map data is on the phone, some h*cking shouldn't be pretty hard)

just make sure you have right key for you device ID. if not sure, uninstall your garmin. delete garmin folder from your memory (card/phone) and reinstall everything. follow those detail instructions.

Because you have to pay a subscription for voice navigation with a GPS receiver with the official version. You may look at the maps and get directions for free. But if you want to know where you are on the map, create routes and navigate, that costs a lot of money!

if you just purchased your N82, you should check this :

1. firmware (dial *#0000# on your phone) : from symbian-underground will tell you

N82 (can be hacked up to version 20.0.062)
N82 (can NOT be hacked starting version 30.0.019)
N82 (China) (can be hacked up to version 20.1.062
N82 (China) (can NOT be hacked starting version 30.1.019)

3. Get your map & voice from http://nokiamaps.site666.info/ there are so many links, so just be careful. Nokia Maps v. 2.0 actually better & more stable (IMHO) for north america.

check my other post to have Garmin XT for free on N82. It works faster and flawless than Nokia Maps. only it's interface looks dull compared to Nokia Maps.

I dont actually have it yet but I am thinking about getting it. I was already reading about the HelloOX and stuff....I was just wondering since its 5th edition of symbian S60 and touch screen if the regular nokia maps 2 works with the touch screen.

I doubt that it has maps3 on it already since its only a beta porgram yet and I dont think that they would put a beta program as the only navigation software on that phone.

Hellow, I've got some problems with the Nokia.Maps.v2.0.2602.S...sis. I downloaded the Licence.mangager.pro.v6...sis thing on my Nokia 5800. Now it says, when I try to download the Nokia.Maps.v2.0.2602.S...sis, Certification fault. Please contact the provider, or something like that. I saw you guys talking bout SecMan and HelloCarbide but what is it with that? Im very confused. All help will be accepted. (I'm Dutch, do Dutch phone)

i try the thing for n95 on the link u gave but when i try to install nokia cracked sis file installation doesnt start i wait about 5 min still no luck

I think part of the problem could be with map compatibility when nokia maps doesn't load, delete the map folder first, reinstall program then use map loader to load maps and voices for your region/version.

Mine loads great, but the sat nav itself doesn't work. Its doesn't even try to calculate it just goes back to the place you selected in the menu. Not sure if this is down to a firmware conflict but all installed ok without problem, although it does say that programs running need to be closed for install. Anyone have any idea as to why the sat nav doesn't work out the route ?
