Have tried everything to change IMEI.

Hello,

I tried to use qPST and the method of reading then writing the IMEI to the fone but got the NV_READONLY_S error message.

I backed up my NV, then used the lg3g.exe program to direct unlock, then restored the NV.

Still no IMEI change. (did also try the qPST method again after). Still no change.

I think the main problem is where I am still getting NV_READONLY_S during the writing of the IMEI to phone in qPST.

If anyone at all can shed some light on this i'd be over the moon.

n.b I think i need to work out how to actually disable the NV file so I can the use the software to change the IMEI, before then restoring the NV file. but How do i do this??
