Hi all,

I'm going to activate the TomTom-Map-USA_and_Canada-v7.20.1802 on my Go 510.

Since I never used/see a SD with installed on a map V7.20
I don't know in which directory of my SD I should put the map's files.

I mean, I can see from the maps version 6.x the files were put in a folder
named as the map name (i.e. \USA_and_Canada-v7.20.1802) and the
root folder contained the tomtom system files (i.e. ttsystem, etc..)

So, with the maps version 7.2..which should be the right position of map files? (on the root or in a folder ?).

I attached a snapshot about the tree layout for a map version 6.x

Thanks a lot in advance..Ciao...Gradys

I did many tests:
1) I copied the files on the root but it doesn't recognize the map
2) I copied the files on the folder \USA_and_Canada_720_1802 but
it doesn't recognize the map

So, could some one help me to figure out where the map's files should be copied in order to TomTom recognizes the map?

Thanks a lot in advance..Ciao Gradys.

Hi all,

I'm going to activate the TomTom-Map-USA_and_Canada-v7.20.1802 on my Go 510.

When you say "you're going to activate it", did you buy the map on a new SD card with an official activation code?

Hi,

I didn't by the map but I downloaded it by eMule.. and in order to activate it I should put the files under the correct folder, who knows which is the right folder to be used here?

Thanks a lot in advance..Ciao

if I remember correctly you should be able to simply copy the new files into the v6 folder, then rename it to USA_and_Canada-v7.20.1802 and run the keygen.
