Extended battery for the kf750 secret

hi all newbie here

i have had the secret for about a week and i love the phone. the only problem is the battery life. i have seen on ebay an extended battery. the battery is an 1000mah 3.7v li-ion battery.

i was wondering if i get this battery and use it will it damage my phone?

i phoned lg and they said i could use the battery at my own risk. they also said that there might be making an extended battery them selfs some time in the future.:eek:
