Simply obvious, first you have to unlock its CID :)

Only then you can flash with a different rom :) not before :)

Before you go for flashing. you have to complete some more steps.

Like Unlock CID, if its locked to any carrier. backup your existing data etc :)

How to Flash ?

1) make a regunlock
2) copy content of SSPL to root of your device
3) run SPL.lnk
4) run ROM Update Utility.exe on your PC
5) follow the instructions
6) wait until flash process will be completed

Regarding your first question.

I dont know any free unlock procedure available.

Regarding your second question.

First you have to recover your device, to do this. you will need Original Rom.

Let me know more info about your Device. IPL/SPL Carrier ID, if you know.

if you successfully recovered your device. then you can flash with french language.

Plug in USB cable. Hold voice recorder button and press reset button. Bootloader will appear (Three color stripes). Then you may flash up ROM.
(This works only for RUU installation types, not for PDAmobiz modified installator) Original english HTC P3300 ROM you may download

Yes, you can upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0

Try to change the ROMfile ID in the header to ORANGE006 or 11111111.If it doesn't work then try to build a ROM with HTCRT.I couldn't test this,but it should work.

Just an idea:
Try to change the ROMfile ID in the header to ORANGE006 or 11111111.If it doesn't work then try to build a ROM with HTCRT.I couldn't test this,but it should work.

I checked your thread,I remember you had a device with the same problem before.My ideas are the same:

1.
Common artemis upgrade problems If your phone is stuck in bootloader mode try this procedure using mtty:
Cmd> set 32
Cmd> password BsaD5SeoA (maybe it needs 2 spaces between the commands)
Cmd> ruurun 0
Cmd> ResetDevice

2.
Try to change the ROM CID in the file header to your value or SUPERCID (11111111) or try to make a ROM with HTCRT(in this case you need the original IPL,SPL-->from your original ROM).Try again with this ROM.

3.
I think it will be a hardware fault as last time,your device has a faulty flash chip.Try to rehot the IC-s on the board (CAREFULLY!) and try hard reset or reflash again.

You right it is USA one.

I treid all roms from there two three times with different computers but non of them helpfull all coming just %3 then stop connection (All my fire wall and activesync turnoff)

I treid to read cid value with mtty and snopy usb log by hex editor but didnt give me the cid value any way.

I treid HTCRT ROM builder I extract a rom than extract with rom tools then I rebuild rom with HTCRT ROM builder with write my rom version but it doesnt helpfull it says again 270 or somethink like that error invalit vendor ID.

I think I need build spl file but I have no idea for that just show me the way how can I do that.

Kill activesync processes in task manager(rapimgr.exe,wcescomm.exe).
Connect your device to USB.
Run the Upgrade utility,cross your fingers and hope the best.
If it doesn't help,you killed the loaders,only JTAG method can help,but I didn't find too much info about it,service centers changed the mainboard in this case.

You have to extract the ROM to a folder (or sometimes to the root of C: ) and extract the noid upgrader to the same folder.Then run noid upgrader and it will find the file.

Which soft did you use?I used a couple of free softs from there without any problem.Maybe you ignored the fact there are 2 types of Wizard G3 and G4,with different methods,different flashes.

You should use an executable that does not check country ID. MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe is the file you are looking for. Run your ROM upgrade program. At the point when you face the country ID error under a directory (sth like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Local Settings\Temp\A funny named directory) you will find 6 files. Before cancelling the upgrade copy them to another safe directory (after cancelling all will be deleted automatically) and cancel the upgrade. Replace HimUpgrade.exe with the file I attached in that safe directory. Put the alpine in bootloader mode and cradle it. Then run this file (MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe). First it will fail then in the second time it should work.

its hard to recover a ELF from Boot-loader, especially when you are a newbie.

Now you have 2 way.

1. Use MTTY to get CID info, then i ll try to provide rom according to ur CID.

2. Make Gold Card. Gold card will Patch ur Phone into Super CID.

Both process are very hard. even for me.

Put a non-accepted SIM card to your device and wait (phone switched on,of course) .Sometimes hours,sometimes weeks.If this code doesn't work at first time,then you have to repeat unlock procedure.

YES,it works with many models,just check the QMAT software,there are many models on the list.I tested on my Charmer yesterday.The guide was made for ELF,that's why it is "Elf_GoldCard".
Using GOLDCARD:
you need an empty memory card and a WORKING Windows Mobile device (the model doesn't matter,it has to be WM based,because of the SD card partition handling,
that is different than the card readers)

Error code?
I think your device is CID locked,that's why it gives error at flashing.
Download ALL HTC UNLOCK from forum,it can CIDunlock your device and you can flash it with any ROM.

This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process.

Solution: If this happens, you can just soft-reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.

You need factory rom. before you got factory rom. you need to know its CID.

Use MTTY to get CID information.

Ehhh,I should make a guide for MTTY too.(I will do it,if I have some free time.)
Steps:
Activesync->Settings->untick allow USB connection
(alternatively,kill the next processes in task manager:wcescomm.exe,rapimgr.exe)
After this put your device in bootloader mode
Connect to PC
Run MTTY
USB will apper in the port window,select it
type commands and get the needed informations
( I think info 0,info 1,info 2 will work with Gene too,info 2 will give you the CID value)
Post here the results and we try to help you

So,first of all you have to identify your device,because there is
GENE P3400
GENE P3401
GENE P3400i
and sometimes (almost always) wrong Rom kills the device.
I don't have any experience with Gene,so I recommend you to visit xda-developers.com and read about it.

i think u should try force boot mode like press cam voice and pwr and put cable or some other combinations see that bat is well charged but if still now showing colour band then only jtag flashing is the solution but sorry i dont have more details about it if u find something pl let me know bcos i too have almost similar case for htc herald dead after flashing

Forget jafwm,it an old box and there are many tools for PDA-s.
For dopod 818 pro,if it is a Prophet (S200):

BTW,if you extract the ROM file,you can find a readme file inside with upgrade instructions.It is for:upgrade for a working device with matching CID (device CID and ROM CID) or CID unlocked device
