View Full Version : Maxim Dongle bin file needed in Intel HEX format!!!

Hi Guys!!!

Maybe someone can help me. I have got my ATmel programmer today but unfortunately it cant open bin files with *.bin extension. I tried opening the Maxim Dongle fiel so I can program the chip but no luck.

It can ONLY open *.hex and *.Rom format files.


Does anyone have the Maxim file in HEX format please which is working 100%%%

why not just use icprog and save as .hex type ?

thats what i did to get the required .hex file from the .bin file.

p.s you don't have to use the software to program the chip just to change the format (remember to change the chip to the correct one !!!)
