sigmatel s3 no operator name

this cell was dead, i only did complete ffs and then the cell come alive.its working like a charm,but only the problem is, its not showing operator name, shows only four small square box.

hello!

we heard about this problem, but unfortunately no such phone on hands to do needed tests.
i think some kind of operator logo changing program would do the job, if it is exist...
can someone comment this?
