got my new n96 yesterday just wondering if anybody as managed to get any applications to work on it yet . . also anyone know if there is a sat nav that will work on it ive tried tom tom and garmin but they dont even open once installed . .

have you got the mobile tv to work?
ive hardly got anything to work . . im beginning to wish id kept my n95 8 gig not got any applications to work . full screen caller says i cant load pics for security reasons . tomtom goes onto phone but when u click on it nothing happens at all . . that goes for garmin as well . . it wont connect to my router either just says no web gateway . .:mad::mad::mad:

i thought it was just me that couldnt get tomtom and garmin to work!
:mad::mad:i cant gety anything to work im seriously thinking of taking back and getting my n95 back . . much better to use . .

i could not get any thing to too but now i have updated to firmware 11.101 via NSU now i get online with my router
thanks for that rendle i did go on nokia site a couple of days ago but it said no update was available for mine . . what product code have u got mine is sim free gsm version . .
just had another look still latest is Latest available software for Nokia N96, product code 0573063
Version: 10.065
so looks like im stuck with that for now

Do you know how to chnge your product code?? i am using 0543713 when mine was 0573063
i got the sofware to change it if you need it
PM if you do - the update sorts ut lots of bugs
been having loads of problems today with phone not responding to any key presses and messages taking an age to open and close . . remembered having similar problem with a n70 a while which was related to memory card . . so i removed the 8 gig 1 that came with this phone and hey presto its like using a different phone . .
