You bricked your phone :( Only way to fix it is to flash a new firmware on it.

i bought a sciphone i68+ using AT&T service. i hardly get any service time to use the phone as it hardly ever has any bars, and always drops calls. i also haven't been able to get on the internet. my friend has AT&T service and his phone works at the same place when my phone doesn't. can someone help me get this phone operating like it should?

I have a real bad echo in the ear piece I can hear myself talk better than the person I am speaking to. This is the second 68+ that I have had with the same prob this one seems to be less of a problem.. Can I turn down the volume of the mic so it will not echo......

My brother did the same thing to his sciphone do you know how to flash it?
i do hope you can help my stupid brother jajaja the same day he bought it he screwed up it :p

try to format your phone, also you can upgrade your firmware

My phone does not say SciPhone on start up, nor do the batteries. inside the phone it says I9+ IMEI 357020013690807
The Phone seems to have the new firmware (Multiple touchflow? icon screens and java 2.0) but my dailing numbers are not white but blue?
It does not us this code for engineer mode * # 8560968 # but this one * # 82043036 #
I tried to get into that build info and stuff but bricked my phone soon after.
Stupid me hit high speed sim by accident :mad: and did not write down my info!:eek:
This is what i remember...

How do i know which cable and firmware to use if it is indeed fake?
Also is there close up pics anywhere of the usb pin set up? mine appears to have a blank at the end.

He have used a box for resolve this problem.;)

I am new to forum. I have sciphone i68+ build date 4/16/2009 18:28. I live in US and use AT&T network. The phone I purchased on ebay from China. It will not register with network. It is reading the sim card because it can see my contacts but I cannot make or receive calls or texts. What do I need to do? I have already downloaded javquis IMEI tool and changed IMEI number. I have went into engineer mode and tried both automatic band selection and 850/1900 which is what AT&T uses. Is there possibly some other settings in engineer mode that would keep the network from registering? I know other people use AT&T with the i68+. It must be something I am overlooking. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello!Anyone can give to me the factory code por this mobile phone?I've a problem right now, i have my contacts duplicates, which makes to not recognise who call to me, just appears the number without the contact name.
Also i don't know how i can choose the memory phone and just works whith this memory like other phone models.

1. Enter the engineer mode => Device => Set UART => UART setting .
2. On TST-PS Config make it UART 2 , 115200
3. On PS config make it USB Port , 115200
4. On TST-L1 Config make it none.
5. Press Ok, the phone will shut down,
6. Start the phone, when you connect it to the computer it will be in com-port automatically.
7. If you want the previous setting "mass storage or picture or webcam" change the PS Config to UART 1 and press ok.

Hi, and first, thanks a lot, very very well, for this forum !
I have a i68+ and I flashed it after a "brick"… (Sciphone i68+, spiderman 2.50, work well, with the good cable for flash)
It was the original firmware (Gemini recent, I have buy the phone 5 days ago), but now I CAN'T use the MMS and WAP menu !?!?
I have the message "please wait" and… nothing !
No acces to the setting menu too, when I use the sms icon, the phone return directly to "iphone" menu…
I can't write any SMS too !
Can I use the engenering mode for debug this problem ?
Why it doesn't works after reflashing with the original firmware ?
please help :)
