gurbuz,

Download GMXT v5.00 for S60 3rd Ed under Unit Software, GMXT Free Basemap v4.xx.xx under Additional Software and GMXT Support Files under Additional Software from the following link.

http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-11034-00

Obtain Jetmouse's v1.5 k3yg3n and gmaptool from the forum.

Then install the apps to the Smartphone in data transfer mode in the following order.

GMXT Free Basemap v4.xx.xx
GMXT Support Files v4.xx.xx
GMXT v5.00 for S60 3rd Ed.

Disconnect the Smartphone from the PC. If the GMXT does not install on its own, then browse the memory card in the Smartphone and look for GarminMobileXT.sis. This is the install file for Garmin. Once installed, GMXT will look for a GPS and at this point cancel the search. Using the Navi keys go to Tools and select. Then select Settings and scroll down to About and select. Look for a number that is identified as Card ID: and record this. Exit out of Garmin and reconnect the Smartphone in data transfer mode to the PC. Start Jetmouse's k3yg3n, enter the card ID into the unit ID space and click Generate. Copy the software unlock code to Notepad and save the file as SW.UNL to the \Garmin folder on the Smartphone's memory card. Disconnect the Smartphone from the PC and start GMXT. Go to Tools and select Settings. Then select System and select RemoteGPS. Change the RemoteGPS setting from Bluetooth to Attached/Built-in GPS, select Enable and select Done. Now the GMXT should be operational. The next step is to download the France and BeNeLux maps from here.

Use WinRAR to extract the files from the downloaded exe file and copy the gmapsupp.img file to the same folder as the gmaptool. Start a DOS window and go to the folder that has got gmaptool. Type in the DOS prompt the following.

gmaptool -i -v gmappsupp.img

Look at the last line of the output and record the PID and FID values. Go to Jetmouse's k3yg3n and select custom mapset from Select Map Product. The next pop-up will allow you enter the FID, select Enable additional fields and select OK. Click Generate at the main screen and copy the map unlock code to Notepad. Save the code in the \Garmin folder on the Smartphone memory card as gmapsupp.unl. Now copy the original gmapsupp.img file to the \Garmin folder on the Smartphone memory card. Once you start GMXT you should have a fully functional GPS nav system with maps. Voila.
