Phone Tool from DWD for Infineon Chipsets...

Sorry. I waste my time through many Threads and Google...

But my Search Algo for Phone Tool is very bad... :)

I found 9.5 from 2003. Thanx for it. But it seems S-Gold 2 not supported?

I can see in LG SVC that they use Version 25.0 for S-Gold 2 handsets...

Also I saw 10.0 as an "Picture", but nowhere to Download... :(

Maybe someone can help me to find higher Version as 9.5.
Perfect would be. It supports S-Gold 2. :D

Also I request Driver from DWD/Comneon/Infineon. Our Device ask for:
COMNEON:2CDC and 1MS

No, it's unavailable there also unavailable in CSMG all levels ASC B2E ARC i think this program is for internal use only in LG ELECTRONICS Company, but the dll DWDIO.DLL is available in internet with their classes and references .

KE970 is S-Gold 2

So no newer Version needed...
1 User has confirm success with KE970 and this Version...

Again. Did you tried to enter Testmode?
You must see colors... on Display.

You have to choose correct COM Port and Baud rate.
Also you have to connect phone. :D

I can't give you 100 % step by step walktrough for your problem...
I have NO KExxx Apoxi.

Maybe some KE970 owner can confirm or help you...

Maybe you should read the Service Manual.

See 134 and following sites...

Maybe you have to set something in the Engineer Menu, see site 139...

Maybe that are Security options by Firmwareversion...

I have spent a day and most of the night trying to access the file system as I would like to change my sms tone and slide tones, Iv followed any tuts I can find but with no luck.

Some of the things I have tried...

Infineon Tool 8.1 -
Timeout while receiving - please check connection and that DUT is ON
Tho I am able to use AT Terminal ok.

BlueSoleil 1.6 "..\" Trick, and get can not find dir or similer message.

BitPim Via USB Cable and BlueSoleil Com Port Using VX-8700 Model - Wont read anything from phone or auto detect it, times out when trying to read fs (or anything else) when settings are set manually.


LG EFS MEDIA BUILDER only shows my phone If I click "Only U8150" and shows as model NONE and when I connect WAITING comes up and then Im dissconected.

I have tried on Vista x64 SP2 (Main PC), Vista x86 SP2 (Laptop) and XP SP3 (Virtual PC) using the driver that I downloaded with the LG Support app and a newer 4.9.4 Driver That I found.

I can change my IMIE and Bluetooth address on this phone with keseries IMEI app but I can not access the fs :confused:

Im currently looking for a newer version of Phone Tool (S-Gold 2??) to see if that works.

Please can anyone offer any advice or app that could help me complete my goal.




P.S Sony Ericssons are soooo much easier lol..

P.P.S When I put my phone into test mode (hold star, hash and power) I get the display check and vibrating but the usb connection is in MASS STORAGE mode every time I do this...
