Hello to you all

Could someone please help me ?

I have a Mio 269, and I seem to have knacked it up. I was trying to unlock it to try and put IGO on it, dont know how I did it but managed to delete the flash drive:eek:. Would anyone know how to do a factory default on the unit ?

I have been told I need V3 of the miomap and someway of making the unit work with Activsync,

At the moment the unit is a paper weight

any help please:)

Your installation CD will be able to restore it fully.

Plugging the unit to your PC, does the drives show up as USB devices? If so, you can copy a backup of the internal flash drive (if you have one) back to it, or use the CD to restore it.

If the drive does not show, or gives an error that it does not have drives (which is expected when you convert it to a PDA with the hacks) you'll need ActiveSync on your PC to access the device. I suspect this may be the problem here - the drive appears to disappear. If you deleted or formatted files, then you'll need to restore.

Depending on the version of software used, poppiong the SD card and rebooting will restore the MIO to pre 'upgrade' settings - if you haven't deletd any files..

Sounds like it has been converted to a PDA (which is what you were trying to do!). You'll need Microsoft ActiveSync to connect to it. Download it from Microsoft.
