ffModifier, a software to modify ringtone and/or image data inside the Siemens full-flash file is ready to download from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/z-soft/files/Siemens/ffmod_089.zip (rtmod enhanchement)

*) Support allmost all C/M/S-35, S/ME-45, SL4x, and A3x firmware version, including their -i- version.
*) Need some trial on the real phone for C45 and M(T)50 improvement.

All image available in the full flash file will be displayed. You can select which ones you want to modify. I do not have any remark for each image (different firmware has different structure and different images array). I hope users can give their own remark, and possibly share it with us...

try the program of ACiD[mrp] on my homepage

with searchpic.exe you can scan the fubu
and when you load the detect files in the other exe - it finds the offsets of the images

so if you find something new write me a mail holg@gmx.at

In the help section, I wrote these:
*) Select your image to be changed.
*) Go to the new image area (the box under the original image box). Click mouse right button, and you will get Pop-Up menu about all functions. You can either Load the new image from file, or Paste it from the existing clipboard image.
*) After all, you just need to save it as usual...

I try this now on M35 v24 about ringtones and it says that there are I don't know how many worng addresses. I did that ringtone change and it works, but with what phones, firmware this software works with no problems? I try until now

and neither one of these wasn't work, or at all or with warning.

Hi, can you please help me? As I already told you one in a row phones, which weren't work was also one M35 with v24. No matters to that I changed ringtones and it worked. But now after few days it just turned off.

Here is information about it so can you help me with it?

I have my own M35v24 work with no problem. I think, each language pack has different free area, so even mine and yours has same firmware version, but maybe the language pack is different.
Please modify this :
Section [M35_24]
New=xxx parameter to be New=355200
*) Do not forget to press Search button after loading your full-flash file, and press Config to save the new config for your own M35v24.

If it does not work (phone off after some time), then try:
New=3C6900

or:
New=3D2200

Hope one of them is good...

OK. Sorry, there is no M35 but C3I ...
So, you need to modify the New= parameter (New=1F0000,1F03E8,...) with "New=355200" (w/o double-quotes) then try to restart your ffMod, Load, Search, Config, and re-do what you were done.
If it is fail (phone off after some times), try to change it with "New=3C6900" ... if still same impact, try "New=3D2200" ...

I don't know if maybe I should only change these values and not doing search or what? Also one more information. After search in ini file there are old values again. If this could help you somehow this changing ringtones on same firmware with moremel, works just fine, but your software is much more easier and more logical but, unfortunatelly this doesn't work very well:(

i have one question for Rizapn.
i´ve done like u described in help file and i got two partial bin files test_1f.bin and test_35.bin. for the first one i already khow what to do i will flash from 1f0000 with size 10000, what about second binfile? Do i have to flash from the address 350000 (size=10000)?

Yes, you understood well, but only about size, it is enough to use 010000. I did that so many times and everything worked very well.

Did someone try this on some C45, because I think someone told me this doesn't work on it, and what was your imppressions?

i have problem when uploading with partial flash ...
there are two partial files generated by your program ...
after finished uploades those files with unisiemens .. my phone dead perfectly .. just light for a while and then dead

just info .. my flash id is E404 ... maybe it's the real problem? or anything else?

I've the same problem some tones are faster and some are slower then original midi files !?

Vell I had same problem, but not with C45, I have it with M35, and also I can't understand why is that because tone are in midi format and sounds OK when I'm listening those.

Look, what I discovered. I was thinking how to solve this problem and I remembered that I should try to open those midi's from RIZAPN RINGTONE CONVERTER, and when I open it and play it from this software they sounds different, not like they should sound. Than I speed up or down it and save it, but after that after I put it in the phone, some of them sound slow or fast again. Any idea now after now this what to do?

I thougt, you did'nt have any problems with wrong software, or turning off phone after doing this? What firmware do you have?

I told you, I don't know. Strange thig is that I put on that m35 than after this and melodies changed with moremel, and same thing happened. So now what is really happening I don't know. Before that I did that with moremel on some c35 and this same m35 and everything was ok.

BTW RIZAPN will not be here until december 18th, so I am sure he will help with solving this problem, when he come back.

Yesterday, I put v50 to my friends C45, it is detected as v35 by your software, and this happenes

Try to play and modify your MID file using my rpntone, Universal Ringtone Converter downloaded from z-soft files section. Then, after everything is OK, use ffmod.

@wdrew:
The '1F0000' value is used as a default new ringtone value. Modify that to use another default value used by 'Search' button. If you already have your own value, or want to use them directly without using 'Search' function, then you have to edit the 'C3I_xx' parameter (depend on your firmware version), instead of 'C3' or 'M3' parameter.

@All:
It was very old topics... please try to read the whole discussion, use your great brain before asking anything, and it will help any author to create some more **freeware** stuff, other that busying them with very less or even useless question.
