display of operator code instead of name

hi friends,

i have just bought a dual sim NKTEL C6000 mobile phone. I've loaded it with ufone and Telenor sim (pakistan). Till now it is working perfectly except one thing, i.e., and that is it shows the code 41006 instead of the name Telenor on the display screen (which i don't really like). Would any friend tell me as what i can do to force it display the name, as for ufone sim it shows UFONE on the screen?

Hello,

Your phone has firmware where your operator name is absent (probably too old or too buggy firmware).
What to do: flash phone with newest firmware (if you will be able to find it).

Thanks a lot for your reply. Btw, my phone is otherwise stable so might be the provider name is missing from the list. Is there any way to add the name of the provider manually to the list?
