hi guys
so much for paying extra to get no special privilages!! any how i ahve few questions,so please help if you can.
i recently removes the main connector on the main pcb of a 6280 with no problem!, at first lower heater fast reflow, then reflow, and u.heater on fast reflow.
the pcb was rapped in ali foil at the bottom and top except near the connector,i then removed the connector at about 190 deg.with success but noticed that solder balles from undernith the very small ics have poped out ,that was the broken pcb so its not important, but now i want to practice on the real board,my question is now do i have to cover everything except the connector?would enough heat gets tro?and also would that amount of heat damages other ics?
basically i dont want to repair something and damage something else! would it be better to set this on lead free?
im also doing a different sort of job now as well, i do cars ecu and immobilisers,my question is if i want to remove big ics, like 80 plus legs, would that be ok provided i cover all the componnents with aluminium foil?what would be the perfect temperature for this,as far as im concened these use normal soldering.
any advice is greatly apreciated.
