Dead SL45.. Situation Critical...Help!

After many,many attempts... I still cannot revive my dead-6688(SL45)... :mad:

I have tried to use ALL3/4 2.0.91 by xzz and flash ver19. Still dead. (click write flash, write Imei)
Then i create log and use map, still dead.

Then i tried using WinSWUP with ver49, at 100%, says ABORTING due to TRANSMISSION ERROR..

Then i tried drug_store's recommended method, fullflash with v55 on UniSiemens, Still dead. After log, still dead.

Also tried to copy eeprom from 100% working 6688, also no hope.

Also tried the Siemens EEPROM repairer, but, it always says connecting to bootstrap-loader, no change...never connect.

NO lights, no sound...no sign.. :( Anybody know what to do now?

Well, the phone isn't totally dead.

It still loads up (the flashing and stuff) and all..

Just that something's quirky somewhere. Sombody should know what exactly...aigh!

just how did you manage to charge your batteries since you said that the phones were dead?..... pls. note that during flashing, battery power is used.. that may be the reason for the trouble during flashing..

How about create a FUBU file(6mb) in Unisiemens from an working phone, write it to your own, and after just remap.

My frend had like same problem
programs that say nothing receive after 2 boot
unisiemens that don't write well all flash
problem trasmission for many programs
Flash idc not correct and so on

i maked for u a flash of many little portion of 64 kb (94 file if i remember well of 010000 in esa) and he loads all this files at the right offset so he finally had a good flash in phone and after remap now it work!
so u can try this if haven't good result flashing all file of 6 Mg in one time.....

I guess this post will be of use to newbies like me:

I own a SL45i wich originally carried FW52.
It is still under warranty, so I took it to a Siemens shop, and they updated it to FW56.

I wanted to tweak it a little, so I used V_Klay 2.1.5.2 directly with phone (instead of file) but the "Use only long press of # to unlock keypad" mod KILLED THE PHONE, although I tried to "Undo" the patch!

I did have a FW52 flash backup wich I made with UniSiemens 4.0, so I flashed the phone with it (through Sync-Station).

But I wanted to get the FW56 back! So...

WinSwup (SLIK5601w executable) DIDN´T WORK!
I kept getting "Cant connect to Mobile with BootstrapLoader on Com 2" and "Could not switch on Mobile" and, after trying various schemes of powering on/off+inserting in SyncStation, "Voltage 0.000 is to low, please charge"

I charged it and the battery was now full, but still I got error messages. I kept trynig dongle emmulator on/off, different COM ports, different COM port settings/speed, but NOTHING WORKED... UNTIL I USED:

- data cable (NO SYNC-STATION!!!);
- Siemens Dongle Emulator 1.81
- SLIK5601w (winswup32)
- checked both "skip" boxes ("pre-check" and "post-check")
- "Serial Config": Baud 115200; COM2; uncheck Synch-Station
- Press "START"...
- As the "Connect mobile" bar moves, press red button on the phone
- The "Connect mobile" bar grows, then screen turns ORANGE... ... ...
- screen turns sea greenish/blueish... ... ...
- DONE!

**NOW I´LL BACKUP THE FW56 FLASH WITH UNISIEMENS!!! (THIS IS A REALLY GREAT TOOL FOR FLASHING-WORKS WITH SSTATION TOO :)**
