Deactivate 3g on LG U960

I unlocked my phone using the free unlocker that is around here then I restored my IMEI and BD adress using the instructions from here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=508796 but now any time I go to an 3g coverage area I get signal but I can't call or do any network related stuff. I also can't be called. I am on Orange, in Romania.
Now the question is how do I stop completely the 3g part of my phone? I used service programming from QPST to try and stop it,but after reset I still got 3g.
Any help is appreciated.

If I choose GSM preffered in QPST programming module my phone works but after one or two resets, It will start 3g again or it won't find any network at all.

I don't think that 3g can't be stopped for all, so please help me. I need to stop it PERMANENTLY.

u need only nv to solve ur problem u have now damaged imei and adress bluetooth
