For a exp: i have to remove CPU of any chinese phones.

so in pre heater heat control should be witch level(1 to 10 available on prea heter control)

same tome in hand held heat control should be how 1 or 2 or 3 ....

and ther is a temprature control i got with this package its for what?

Please Tornado supporters reply me to here. iam waiting for your reply.

1.The distance between the preheater to pcb and pcb to the hand held gun/heater should be around 2cm.

2. Preheat the PCB at around 100-120 C, use the supplied thermometer to check the actual temperature by placing the tip near the reworked IC.

3. When reworking the IC using the handheld gun/heater/station the temperature should be around 170 - 200 C depending on the melting of that IC you are reworking, for lead free pcb's must be a bit higher are 225C. Try first with the bad non working PCB's for practice. (Use the supplied thermometer to check the actual temperature by placing the tip near the reworked IC.)

The heat control knob varies the voltage supplied to the preheater, so if u set the knob to higher number, the temperature of the preheater/handheld also increases. But the actual temperature that you have to always check was that on the reworked IC/PCB which is measured by the thermometer.

Please do not always set the control knob to maximum at extreme high temperature as it may damage your IC/PCB.

Anyway Thank you very much.
So these controls on Handheld unit and Pre Heaters atr Not Accurate. also Digital Displays on pre heater and Haldheld unit are Not accurate?
if these Meters show accurate Temprature then these Ifra unit is more usefull.

Thank you.
