i unlock alote of 9500 and 9530 but this is the first time i see this msg. :confused:
so i hope to solve this problem :D

sir slow method mean sfi correct and there is no sfi files for 9500 or 9530 in support area

Brother check if the phone is unlocked already, I had a same problem with a 8110. gave me the same message but the phone was unlocked:D
same here also I have 12 pcs before me n same error " unsupported version" yet cant find .sfi files
any update for this from FT?

like moderator said he dose not have these type phones ,these are easily available in hongkong with vodafone connection,as well can be sent from india.
all strom from from vodafone are unsupported is available for 750$
can be shipped when developer wants ,although i am sure he has it.
all 8900 from vodafone are same is priced at 650$ .
as team is making good money with bb activation as new user is unaware that when he gets the activation 60% handsets are unsupported.

if u can't find the SFI on support area
simply go the this post

following up, download the same fw ver
install it
and find your SFI fils in this path
e.g. 8310
D:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8310-v4.5.0.52_P2.7.0.66\GPRS
e.g. 9000
D:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9000-v4.6.0.144_P4.0.0.143\UMTS
longgiang81, do not lie me please. Many people and I have unlocked 9500 without any single problem. I have unlocked almost 10 units in 10 seconds/u.
If you may have search instead of complaining you would have see how slow method works.
It requires to put Fast code read in OFF
Secondly requires to check version and Platform. Both numbers must be the same. The download the file
Thirdly requires to put in unlock or just press to jobs.
At last software will ask you to chose the SFI file. Just give it to the soft and wait.
My answers are bad when it has been asked 10 times. If I'm bad you are lazy about using SEARCH
