Member: 72073 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Car Audio Project Hello again friends. I want to use sl45 for listening mp3 in the car. Here what I want to try: 1. The syncstation of my sl45 connected to cigarette lighter for charging while playing mp3 in car. 2. 3,5 female audio jack out, from the syncstation to line-in of the car-audio system (or a cassete adapter maybe) 3. The system will also have to work as open speaking system when receive calls (e.g. listen to caller's voice via car speakers) All the trouble is the making of the 3.5 audio jack out. Is it safe to follow the following schematics ? : (2 - Audio RIGHT (called SB) 11 - Audio LEFT 12 - GND) and bridging pin 1 and 8 ? All the above inside syncstation connector About brigding wich is the right ? pin1 and pin 8 or pin 1 and pin 7 regards! |

I thing pin 8 to GND for recognize HeadSet and pin 7 to GND if you have external switch to hang up/down a call. 2 Audio RIGHT (called SB) to +| |- to RIGHT jack 11 Audio LEFT to +| |- to LEFT jack 12 Audio GND to GND jack +| |- is capacitor (I used 10uF / 16V). It is not necessary, I thing you don't need it to connect. After this, you will hear Caller voice in your (Left or Right) Speaker of CAR-audio system. (I don't remember now) Post here results, please, because some people still have questin about this. Good Luck my friend! Live in peace |

Member: 2515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Hi Lerry! Thank you for clear info. Nice! I used capacitors because it is possible to short pins of 3.5 jack F/M when you connect it together. And short outputs of Power amplifier is not good thing, isn't it? But you are right, it is not necessary because amlifiers have this capacitors on output usually included. So I put it only for be sure. Heva a nice day! |
