How can i read the firmware of my c55?
with cable and computer:)
and maxim software

did`t work for me !
I use Maxim boots with Unisiemens ...i copyed over the C30 boots with the C55 boots found in Maxim's unlocking tool..
and not work..
and i desolder R500 next to the crystal..

what exactly means "remove R500 next to crystal " ??????

Its a resistor (electronic component) in the board
ahhh. now im understand...:-) removing an el. component from board of the phone???? I´m very affraid :-)
I try it with Unisiemens the C55 Loaders & a S55....will not work with modifyed cable :-(

i think, we can do it with maxim software. its can read and flash c55/a50. (i talk abaut c55/a50 maxim software-work without dongle)

i can read with maxim software .. but just i can read eep .. and language ( of A50 ) ,the full flash i cant read ....its stoping in 99% ...why ?
and C55 for me not work ..and i make the test point (i remove the resistor R500 ) -...

this is unprotect soft , can read 100% full flash but can not unlock !

Hi
Run program, in unlocking choose c55, tab into flahsing, choose read / write full flash chip . remember do it with full battery, it take me 15 minute to read out ...

yes .. but i not understand .. what schematic cable ..use ? .. beacuse for me not work..read..full flash of C55 ..
i removed one resistor ..( near of cristal )..but not work.

Read old topic first, just use cable for c35 and change it to c55. There are many page support for making non original c35 cable use Max 232 IC.
