hi any advice please?
i have dct4 flasher pro but no usb port. i am sourcing 5V from the cd drive vcc but cannot check this current (no ammeter :()
the phone does power on when connected to dongle but all software is saying connect dongle, box not found etc and i dont see why. the box is working as it is tested on another pc and this machine has worked with every piece of Nokia software/equiptment i have ever needed to use.
i am running win98 first edition and have tryed with normal, epp and ecp parallel port settings in bios
after reading old posts i see 500mA is required (someone else was saying 800mA), so i have disconnected the cd drive before trying the software as that would draw some current obviously and still no joy.
please i need to get this working about a week ago!
