Add on this point voltage 3.6v and if you phone was killed by program he should start to flashing.<br />Also if you have new version firmware you can downgrade version and unlock phone without problem.<br />I did not check up this point on v3690 only on v2288.work 100%.

Download hex or ebf flash file in emmi (Motoflex 8.5), connect phone with emmi and (only on very short time) connect test point to + poll batery with resistor 100 ohms. Emmi start flashing phone.

If phone have big flash chip (ex. M3x88) test point is on pin 28 (0E#).

Original shemetic is different than to add voltage this point. its not simple like this.<br />Well,if you add +3.6 volt this point directly sometimes you may damage CPU and may have other problems in the future.<br />also flashing maynot be enough to repair your phone cause sometimes you will need special repair file.<br />this method maynot work always, cause this isnot %100 solution but by the way it may work most time <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I got good result with short-circuit on m3x88 but I managed to broke a 3690 cpu when I tried this.<br />In fact you short-circuit otput from cpu and the cpu could not eat the current pumped by short-circuit so it died. Very bad.

Hi, CMS!<br />Do you know why a dead T180 Motorola after flashing with the use of proper testpoint doesn't respond to Emmibox at the end of the flashing procedure and remains dead? I can repeat such flashing (the processor is OK)?
