Would be much easier to install then beaming files up as messages ...

How can you paste it on drive z:? eFileman or seleq can't write on this drive...

jsp_m, it needs extra files for it to run, even on Z:. I don't know exactly which files are needed but it does need some more. Otherwise you'll just get "System Error" no matter where you run it from.

Does that mean that you have tested it already running from drive Z: ? Running from drive C: I get "System Error", that's right (because the .app file is a "XIP" file AFAIK, meaning "eXecute In Place").

But how can you know there are still files missing when noone can run the app from Z: ?

Dont be offended, I'm just curious :)

You can run the app from Z: if you use the 7650 emulator on your PC :)

So yes I have tested it from Z: and still get System Error.

I cannot copy whole Z: because I'm sending files via IR to an SL45

Hi,

Check Z:\system\installs\ to see if there's a .sis file for it. Also check the LIBS folder for field.dll. Then check for the same info on C:\.

@j2k I looked in Z:\system\install and found nothing thast I could associate with field test (net monitor)

... when I come home from work I will look to all the folders you said and send all the files to my email

I will send it all to you - contact me private on jsp_m@net.hr and I will send it all to you for testing and hopefully we will have solution

Hi,

There's a file called Field.dll in Z:\system\libs

Although there will undoubtedly be more files too but I don't have the names of those, which is why it would be best if the whole Z:\ (and C:\ in case anything is there too) could be sent but you say that is not possible...

I've located the field.dll file at Z:system\libs

I will send it tomorrow to myself, since I dont have SL45 anymore and
stoopid T68i won't accept the file via IR or Bluetooth (tomorrow I will take
one SL45 from the shop)

As you can see sending each file is a huge fuss to me so I need you to tell
me all the possible required folders to send if I will have the possibility
to send more than that one file - tell me which subdirectories would be
priority

so, tomorrow you're recieving the field.dll file

(I don't have the phone on test anymore, but luckily it's being tested by a
friend of mine so I can steal it for an hour or two)

Let's do this right ;-)!

I managed to download and install the emulator, too :)

But: Every program made for the 7650 gives me "System Error" when executing ?!? I tried different apps: Torch (a very simple one :) )
FExplorer 1.05
Switcher
Unfortunately I can't run FTD.APP because FExplorer won't start :( ...

Do you have any hints for me ? And what apps did you test on the emulator ?

The software exists and is no fake, it's on a 3650 with a special edition of the firmware including NetMonitor application (FTD.APP = Fied Test Display).

JSP_M copied the files through IR and now we try to make it run on a standard 7650, leading not to success up to now.

Please read other threads from JSP_M, you'll find explanations and some pictures there.

Hi guys,

I am new around here and I am trying to find net monitor to work with my N70. I can not find it in the page listed above. I also tried the version v3.97 which works with 6630 and 6680 but not with N70. :(

For what I have read I am afraid netmonitor doesnot work in N70. Good to hear from someone that has it working.
