gps on toshiba e800

i have a toshiba e800 and i also have a gps receiver and at the moment i have tomtom 6 on it.

what i would like to know is can i get tomtom 7 on it the tomtom 7 will run ok but it can never see any maps?

is it just my maps arent working.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about TomTom, but you can get Garmin.....
