i failed to unlock and show map in my omnia garmin... actually i did succesfully install twice for my omnia before but not for this time. my garmin has been unlocked but the problem now is it coulndt show any map at the garmin.. anyone please help!

Where did you install the map this time? On the phone or on a SD-card?
Are you sure it still is the same device-id you should use to unlock your map?

yup.. everything is just same like before. well, i installed the map on a SD just like b4 wat i did. maybe i should tell the way i install it again.. see whether i make any mistake or not. 1st i install the GarminMobileXTSupportFiles_4xxxx.exe, then i get the id number and generate the 25 words password and save it to a file called "SW.UNL".. and the garmin unlocked into full version. after tat.. i install the GarminMobileXTforWindowsMobile_50020w.exe. and then i install garmin mapsource in my pc.. then i install Mysin230 by generate the password as well.. gmapsupp.img created after tat & i copy it to my "storage card" garmin folder. when i open my garmin setting--manage map-- it show the mapsource file but it cant show it in the "view map" option.. do u have any solution with this? or can u make a simple tutorial for the map unlocking parts? thx so much again, mike!

Are you sure you unlocked the map correctly? With MapID: 5062 RgnID: 1?
If you are, I have no solutions.....:(
But I know there are some issues with the Mysin230 map, so maybe you should try to unlock it again....

yup.. i did unlocked it coz when the time i check it in the garmin manage seting.. the map did show "unlock".. no matter how many time i unistall the garmin and reinstall it again.. it just cant work.. but the weird thing is i did succesfully to install b4... weird..

Yes, but that was what I ment with my first post....
One time I had an SD-card with a unit-id, let say 12345678, and all my maps on the PC was unlocked with that id.
After som time I tried to make a completly new installation, and i discovered that the id on my SD-card had changed to, lets say 78563412.
That ment I had to unlock all my maps again with that new id-number before I transfered them to my device....
Your maps will still stay unlocked on your PC with the old ID-number, but you can't use it on your device because the sd-card changed id.

well, actually i dont have a Sd card. i'm using samsung omnia I900 rite now. the map i put it into my 16GB storage.. i mean for the 2 times i install it before.. so tat was strange when this time i couldnt get my map work in my garmin... frustrating now.. coz i search everywhere but there is no solution for me.. do u have any map unlocking tutorial or please make a simple tutorial to me for how u unlock it if u dont mind.. thx!

today i test many times again.. still a failure result, the map inside the garmin file but it just couldnt show in the map view.. damn.. there must be something wrong with 1 of the step..

As I said before MySin Map is a litle tricky.... Try with another map first...
If this works then you know you are doing things right...
