This program also supports A50 & C55. For C55, please use itu very carefully cause I haven't tested it yet (I only analyzed the flash file, not the real phone). Maybe use the Read Flash function first and see the result. If it's okay, then you can continue using it...

Well one sugestion.
Whan I choze phone , SW should automaticly set start and end adress of flash for each phone.
You should implante reading and writing of eeprom area too.
That is my suggestion.

Once again, this is only an experimental program, so use it carefully. Any comments, bugs reports, suggestions are very welcomed.

I still haven't got any info about BA/CE chipset, so meanwhile I can't add the support for those chipset.

Which version did u use ? The last version is 1.1c. Please download it again from the same location. Other reports said my program works fine unless for the BA/CE flash type. All phone models are tested unless C55. That's why I'm waiting for reports for this model. If u experienced problems using my program, please send detailed errors to my email.

In some condition program for Siemens have a problem from the cable...
Use data cable from Data cable 5in1 don't use original cable...

100% doesn't work with my S35_1801, of course that I used home made cable works well with all siemens model.
I changed in configuration model CmS35 and only in second I saw Loadind Boot and back waiting on Power on.

I'm very sorry, I'll check it out again. Some reports I received said SieFlash 1.1c works fine on S/M/C35 (Read/Write). What is your S35 flash type ? Until now SieFlash still can't support phones using BA/CE flash type.

I'm very sorry, I'm still unable to locate your problems. I've tested SieFlash 1.1c on S/M/C35 (C489) and it works fine.. If the status bar displays "Loading Boot..." that means the phone test is fine, but if it backs to "Waiting for Power ON" that means there's something wrong with the connection because the respon that came from the phone was not correct. Did u test ur cable on SM45Tools or UniSiemens ? Did the test work perfectly ?

I really don't know what happends, because with S35 from my collegue also doesn't work.
I tried with both cable home made and orig. siemens. Both cables work perfect with Unisiemens and SM45.
Load boot I can see only for 1sec. and back to the Waiting for power on.
The same is on Win98 and win2000
Can someone confirm that together with me
Both models are s35 (C489)

Maybe what deje said was right. SieFlash doesn't work on all OS. I just tested it on Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows ME. What OS do you use erogsm ?

Hi ARMY! Your soft doesn't work on Duron 950MHz under WIN98SE.
On Celeron 266MHz WIN98SE It reads something BUT
I don't know the right size of flash of MT50. Hm, it reads something
very quick and waits on 99%. Saving is impossible.
I tested reading on C55 (you didn't placed option C55 to list. Why???
I said that it can read C55. But on which option??? ) but on Duron 1GHz

SieFlash 1.1d doesnt support C55, so I removed the support since SieFlash 1.1c. I dont know about MT50 because I only tested it on M50 and it worked fine.

Until now SieFlash 1.1d doesnt work on flash type CE/BA20. I have some reports about S35 & SL45i and they said it worked fine.

Maybe there's some bugs or unsupported flash type in SieFlash but I cant no longer continue developing it since it costs me a lot of time and I dont have enough facility to continue. So please use SieFlash as it is.

Guys, I've made some kind "error-track" to find out the problem... please download it from the http://www.gramedia-majalah.com/sieflash.rar and run it again... please pay attenttion to the status bar... it will show the progress of the process... it will show "Loading boot x..." (x -> 1 - 4)... and note when then status bar changed to "Waiting on Power ON" again...

This will track what block has the error...

Guys, I've found out the problem... it's my mistake... I'm sorry... when I added the support for A50, I didn't realize that I made some changes in some functions... and it makes the support for S/M/C35 failed... but I've corrected it... I will upload the revision ASAP (I hope that the website wont be too slow)...

When I started program say "Waiting for POWER ON", and press red bottom "Loading Boot, and after a few seconds back "Waiting for POWER ON".

Today I've tested SieFlash 1.2b on S35(0020-88BA) and ME45(88C2-89C4) and it works fine for read/write... in 4 times testings, SieFlash 1.2b halts 1 times in reading/writing after 22% and 27%... and the 3 times testings, SieFlash 1.2b finished it completely... I'm still researching this cause it happens only a few times... maybe the comport that I use or others... any detailed reports will be very helpfull to correct this...

Yesterday I tested SieFlash 1.2b on S35(0020-88BA) is this the CE/BA20 flash type ? If it is... then in some case SieFlash 1.2b will work fine cause the tests I've done on the phone is succeed...

Now I can confirm that everything works fine.
Only a little bug.
I tried read from 390000 size 040000 for language pack but always get bin file from begining 000000.hex (E6 FC,....
I compared that file and saw that is total same like begining of full file from 000000 size 040000.
All lang. pack must start with hex(BBBB00000000...).
Try to modify this little bug.

I've tested it with my c45 (flash id c489) but it can only read not upload flash. When i want to upload flash it produces hundreds of errors and then i must terminate it using ctrl-alt-del.i've tested it both on win98se and winxp.

How many time did it stops in writing ? I've noticed that some programs running can effect the comm port. Have u tried SM45Tools ? It sometimes have errors in frame when running... this might be because of the component for the comm port used in the program... if this happends again, please give it a try in another computer... there's might be some programs running in ur windows effects the com port...

I know that this type of flash (c489) makes problem when reading first 2 MEGs, rest 4 must be ok.
Just tested the program - it reads first 2 megs, i store them in file, but the data in the file is invalid - any tool for managing images, ringtones and fonts (which are located in those first 2 megs of the fullflash) report that the file format is unknow/invalid/bad etc..

I tested with ver 1.2 build 30329.

Do you plan to support c489 flashes?

Cause of some reports said having problems using SieFlash 1.2 (build 30329) with C45, I've replaced the bootblock with the old one. I hope this will work though it will remove the support for CE/BA20 flash type...

@Army: I 've used your SieFlash 1.2~3 (build 30318~30612) only,for my sl45. The version ,build 30318, works always fine, but the others I found the "bugs" above. Thanks for your great job,it is very fit me. By the way I want to have the default option to be set for sl45, not change it everytime when I open the Flasher. Can you offer a Memory Function to save it. THX LOT!!

I fixed the flowcontrol and set the limit for sending the data to phone. This should work fine... but I still need the real test result to make sure...

The latest version is: SieFlash 1.4 (build 030608)

@army: It isn't very hard to implement some settings in the registry. If you want to have an C++-Example, please mail me and I will send it to you! mailto Cluni (Cluni@cluni.de)

Registry access is easy thing to do but I dont think it's a primary issue. The stability and other imporatant functions such as unlocking is still in my focus. I'm still working for the flowcontrol so SieFlash can be stabile. I wish there were someone who want to share knowledge about unlocking algorithm cause until now I still cant figure it out yet...

The new version is SieFlash 1.5 (build 30615). Now supports reading 3618/6618. In my calculation, this will work on writing too.. but I can't guarantee. It's nice if there's anyone who want to give a little test for writing 3618/6618.

Why don't u make each software for each type of mobile? I think it is easier than integrated software... maybe you never finish your software if it still integrated....

Hi! Thanks Army's work.

I found your Tools cann't do write with Sl45i from 0x1F0000 size 010000 , yet.

And the latest version is also the same wrong(v1.5). It only can read not write at some address in sl45i flash.Army ,what's wrong with the tool?

About the new SieFlash v1.5 I tested it on my C45 flash id C489. It reads but cannot write.
