TOMTOM v2 update - help

hi i havnt ever updated my tomtom v2, and have been running the software which came with it.

I was just wondering is there anyway i can get the newer software on to it and if so, is there a step by step guide explaining it

I would only really need the UK maps, and it would be great to have the speed camera thing on it..

can anyone help me out abit please

go to the tomtom v8 software and maps thread and read from say 20 pages back from the end, you will find all your answers there.

hi thanks for the reply i spent a good hour or so reading pages of this theard, i dont understand much of it...

So do i have to update my normal firmware on my tomtom
then use the patched verision or somthing to crack
and then just copy the map files on to it
is there a step by step guide anywhere explaining it.

Would apperiate it soo so much.

Also will my device take lane guidance?
