New version of Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition software:
Changes made from version 5.00.20 to 5.00.30:
Provide support for Nokia 5800 (S60 touch screen).
Provide a background service that monitors incoming messages which may contain information used by Garmin Mobile XT. A new setting will allow the user to turn this option off (Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Service).
Improve map drawing performance.

this sw isnt compatible with the nokia 5800,i tried but the software doesnt open! can anybody tell me what to do to make it work?

....go to: NOKIA PC Suite then install application form there! (Install application)
...select application (GarminMobileXT.sis) from map: \GMobileCard
if you ask for overwrite .... click: YES!
then unlock it....
goto 5800 on dir: Garmin ..... open GArminDevice.xml .... find <Id>1683??????</Id> ......
....unlock

You must UNLOCK Garmin XT and not to change clock! Why you change clock/date?
Unlock with "Garmin Keygen v1.5"
and use search!
All is writen.......

Hello I have installed this software on my phone and all is working.
Can I ask how do I get the voice promps of speed to work and how does it tell me where the cameras are?

You need to install basemap, support files and the speedcams....

Read the "How to" to install software and maps.... Look under "POI" to find speedcams....

bro microera sorry for disturb i still facing same problem("certificare expired") even i use keygen v1.5 to unlock it
I cannot install the Garmin! With all above solutions, I am noticed that certified expired :mad:

MAPs must be unlocked too!
Use MapSource this way:
-load maps .... selest and unlock maps on PC with 25 numbers from keygen 1.5 (please use search for more info)
-then send unlocked maps to Garmin XT
all be ok!

I'm having similar problemto as sat nav keeps freezing and i'm having to reset phone. i'm using Garmin (v5.00.50s60.9)) works, but not as a sat nav!! (keeps freezing) All other functions etc seem ok unless i use it to get me from A to B.Anyone has freezing problem while running garmin xt on their 5800?
