hello there. for you and anyone else with china htc problem this is the solution for it.
go to this page and download the IMG file called "update.img" from this link (http://www.dealextreme.com/forums/Forums.dx/Forum.12811~threadid.184085)
then follow this steps.
1. Format your HTC memory card (Micro SD card), so it will be clean.
2. Move the update.img (you already downloaded from the site) to root directory of your Memory card.
3. Press Volume Up button on your htc and while keeping it pressed , press the reset button.
You should get the blue screen telling the update being downloaded. Wait for a while and it will tell that Update is successfull and your phone will be rebooted.
