no is not supported until now if i am not wrong unlock too only the old models 9000 and low

On some version works on some it dont. But mostly is NO.

You mean fw or hw version?
If fw....then can we use the possibilities after flashing the phone to suitable fw?

It won't work with 8220, 8900, 9500 & 9530, only code read works for these models. To do more the BB Smart Tool needs tobe upgarded beyond 1.0.0.493
We are all still waiting for an update.
