Hello!
Do you know, how to download full flash from SL45, with simlock and language section ? I want to backup all the phone, before I try to unlock it ;-). BTW, my firmware is 56. What programs do I need to unlock it ? Can you give me some good url links ?

thats very true that using UniSiemens 4 Pro u can take the full backup of your simens mobile phones, and also you can restore the original firmware and eeprom back to your phone.
Regarding unlocking the phone code, you can easily do it by crating a Map of your phone and uploading it.
To create the map of your phone you can use "Siemens A3x All Dover, version 3.0" and to upload it you can use "Siemens IMEI Writer version 4.0". thats all..

I have never been able to do a full backup with UniSiemens: it always halts at 99% for me.
zSiemenz works well though ar reading from the phone. I might be wrong, but writing to the phone does not seem to work properly: when I tried it made my phone dead.
The image saved with zSiemens though, can be written back to the phone with UniSiemens. So far I have tried the EEPROM block, and I will check the full flash later.

Well, I made full backup of flash with UniSiemens and certainly, it stops at 99%, but it works. You have to save the file after finishing and it is about 6140 kB for fw version 56.
Eeprom file has 64 kB. You can upload each of these files, everything works ok.

If it was stop before 100%, then the file is not safe to be used (usually one or some bytes is wrong or skipped from the buffer). If you use it and everything goes well, then you are lucky. I did it once (save it to file no matter it was only 99%, and write it back to the phone), and then, I got a dead phone.
