Hello there.
Remap = write map file into phone to repair EEPROM. At the same time you'll unlock your phone.
BTW. Welcome on the board (is it better than club-siemens, in your consideration... ? :p )
Of course, that map needs to be calculated, for that u need first to read alog from ur phone, use that log to calculated the map, and then upload the map to the phone. easy

Ok, but I never did this calculation.
When I've flashed my me45 to be an S45i, after write the flash, I've just unlocked with press "unlock" button!
Wich program I need to calculate and write map?
I'm happy to join this forum!
@Whatever: I'm totally agree with you!

By pressing "Unlock" you just wrote EEPROM, just like by map. If you look closely at "IMEI" tab of SME45Tools' you'll find buttons: "Read Log" and "Save Map" - that program has built-in log reader and map writer, so you don't have to play with stand-alone logger and mapper. It can also write EEPROM directly - "Unlock" button.
