Hi all. I have a tomtom go500 and a adcard with iberiamap. what have i do to put a western_europe map in this tomtom? I download the map, and i have a 2gb sdcard. There is a way tu put this map on tomtom without modify the firmware?

Make a Backup of your tomtom first incase.

You will need a patched ttsystem file for the map to work, if your Firmware version is an original then from Rytenuffs package you can use the software called yDGpatch to make a patched ttsystem file for you Firmware (Navcore), once made over-write it with the one in your tomtom. If you don't do this then your map will not work.

Then copy over your Map folder into the root of your tomtom, NOT into any other folder!

From your map folder copy over 2 files which will be called something like "Western_Europe.pna" & "Western_and_Central_Europe-19.meta" (MAKE SURE IT IS NOT THE .meta.dct FILE!!!), (the meta.txt file will be in the Progs folder in the Keygen) and paste the 2 files into the Keygen folder called "insert_meta_from_Map_here".
Also In the Keygen folder you will find a notepad file called DeviceID, in this notepad file write your Device ID correctly all uppercase and with no spaces.

Then run the command program called "RunMeforDCT" and follow the options - (It will normally be option #1 then option #1 again depending on which Navcore version you have)

After that is done, from the "insert_meta_from_Map_here" folder, copy over the newly created ".meta.dct" into your Map folder and your map will now work.

Hi! Now i'm going to do a backup of tomtom. My tomtom has a sdcard. In this sdcard (that only have 300mb) i'm not able to put the western europe map (western europe map has 800mb of space). So i buy a 2gb sdcard and make a copy of all entire sdcard that came with gps. I have 2 questions. The modifications and patch i can apply in this 2gb card? And if this go wrong, i damage the gps?

Yes You can do everything as normal on your New 2GB SD Card, it will work, And no it will should damage your gps device, if anything goes wrong then you can always revert back to your backup but if you follow the insructions then it should all work fine.

HI! I have a little problem when o try to crack the ttsystem file with yDGpatch.

The program show me an error:

I read the help file and that say it onle be cracked navcore ver. 7 or 8.

I have a print of my navcore version, and my iberian map version:

So, it's may navcore compatible with this crack program? And if the navcore 6.520 is not compatible with this program, can you put here some link to download a program that crack original ttsystem?

You need to update your firmware via tomtom home to 7.903 then you can patch the ttsystem file using the DG software patcher ;)
