32K spanish vodafone problem

I have found the KI from a Amena(spanish operator) card with Cardinal (8 hours) and a Phoenix with Xtal 3.5MHz. I've used win 98, but when I've tried with a 32K spanish Vodafone card a message appears:

no bytes in input buffer!
check the card!

It happens when I put my Pin,

what does error mean?
Does it mean this card is a new version one?
What can I do?, sorry for my bad english

The new cards of Vodafone and Movistar not can at the moment, to these cards is called v2: ((Comp128 v.2)
