Siemens Flash Modifier & zSiemens

Hi, yesterday I tryed some stupid things... :rolleyes:
I've an S45i and SL45, and I would like to copy ringtone no.8 from S45i to SL45i (it play twice so the level is higher).
So I've seen Siemens Flash Modifier made by rizapn (GREAT JOB!).
With this program I cannot export any ringtone, so I've seen the address of my favourite ringtone, with and Hex Editor I did a "copy" and "paste" in a new bin file and then I've used Siemens Flas Modifier to Merge.... Eh Eh! This is stupid! :p
Well, after flash, the Sl45 ringtone no.8 doesn't play! :D
So I've used zSiemens to flash again my original .bin file.
zSiemens works perfectly to read flash from SL45 (unisiemens stops ad 99%), but when I tried to write the full flash it stops at 34%!!! :eek:
So with unisiemens I flashed again to 100% :cool:

Now I've two question to rizapn:
1) Is there a way to export a ringtone from flash?
2) Why your zSiemens (0.96) doesn't write flash my SL45?

1. Yes, but not using ffmod software. Manually, you can use my bin_copy.exe program (download from the same location with ffmod). To get more detail about that program, just type bin_copy in your MS-DOS Prompt. ***If I have some time, I will add that capability to the next ffmod ...

2. There are some reported bugs in that tools (zSiemenz). But sorry, I have no plan to continue that tools. So, please use it as it is now. Again, sorry for that ...

Hallo Mr Rizapn, I've tried to change my fixed ringtones for C45 but For a few seconds it works just like a normal phone but It became "WRONG SOFT" after I unlocked it works normaly for a few seconds but It became Wrong soft again, my question:

- Is the software not works for C45, or is my phone not works normaly?

- Is Your software works for SL 45 and ME 45?

- Is there any Update for the software, Where can I find it?

If you are using bin_copy, then enter this command in your MS-DOS Prompt:
> bin_copy c:\silvestro\Siemens\cordella\s45i_040101.bin 640C4 c:\temp\rt_s45i_08.bin 0 54

Then insert file c:\temp\rt_s45i_08.bin into your SL45_56.bin as a new ringtone.

1) Yes, some users report that it works for some C45 version.
2) Yes, almost without problem.
3) Not yet. You can check the latest version in http://groups.yahoo.com/group/z-soft/files/Siemens (no, you do not need to be a member).

u did the wrong things, i guest. but now, u can use the newest version, ffmod_090. simply load a S45i firmware, save the ringtone u want (right click then choose save...). then load ur SL45 firmware and load that ringtone (BIN) into ur SL45 firmware.
