Hi,

If you can send mesages in APDU format (GSM 11.11), in theory you can developed the colision method in java to search the Ki in COMP128 v1...
... But is is slow and need more memory to keep the colission results (more less 5 Mb)...

Yoy havenīt got this memory in a phone...

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.

Hi all,

Kar@mba: I see some big problems to make this....

 Can you implemented the COMP128 v1 in Java?
This is necessary to make the collision search...

 Can you implemented the Collision Search in Java?
Example: In C++ I need some Mb of memory to keep collisions....

 Have the phone sufficient memory?
I think not. Because the JM of phones is very little and NOT all memory of phone is to JM.

 Can you access to send APDU commands from a JM to SIM?
I donīt see any interface from Java to normal SIM, perhps with STK but you need a special card...

If you anwers this questions you are in right way.

Status of this question:

Good Idea: perhaps.
Big problems to solve: sure.

Best regards,
Sir Graham.

Hi all,

yes... Thatīs one posibilty... or Symbian S.O (Nokia 7650, Sony ericsson P800) is other posibility...

Well, I suppose you can execute a search ki in the phone. (Optimizated to memory) for this I supposse also you can access to send commands to SIM (APDU commands)....

... but ... What do you win with this?

The search is the same that the PC (more less 8 hours). You can excute this search in the phone instead of PC

...And?

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.

Hi all,

For JLopez:

1š Yes. In normal S.O you canīt access to file system or ports if you donīt have rights. I think there insīt any interface to comunicate the JM with SIM... :(

2š I answer your question in my forum... :D
