i tried modifying 6FAD file, to make sim into Motorola Test Card but XSim and CARDinal refuse to write the entry onto sim. pls help? :) thx...

What is the priviligies for this file. You can see this in Head of the file...
However, Its posible that the version 0.02 alpha of XSim have problems to write files. Itīs are in Alpha.
I see this theme, and I try to solucionate in the 0.03 Alpha version...

I ask for the head fields of Read, change, active o desactive propertys...
Access Read: PINx <-- this is the "password to read this file"
Access updated: PINx <- This is the "password to write this file"
Access Invalidated: PINx
ect...
PIN = Password to FILES into the SIM.
What PINīs do you need?
Itīs posible this configurated to PIN > 2....
However... Itīs possible that the 0.02 Alpha of XSim have a bug...
I working in the 0.03 now...

What do you use to motorola TEST card?
A GoldCard?
Do You uses the HEX prog of the Janus pages?
I will to try to make a MOTOROLA TEST card and I try to probe with XSim... If There is a bug, I will try to solve to version 0.03 Alpha. For this I need all info about the Exact version of you motorola TEST CARD.. Ok?

sorry, this sim is just my normal sim which is no longer used. i am trying to reprogram it to make it motorola test card.
on janus homepage, it said that test card is basically the same as normal sim card just that the file 6FAD is modified? it didnt mention anything about hex for a testcard...
do u have icq# so i can contact u directly? thx.

Hi Pks,
Yes normaly the peole use a emulator to implemented this MOTOROLA SIM card.
This Emulator runs into Silver or GoldCard. (like SIMEMU).
