Well original sim stores the last used TMSI to be used when signing on again. If my phone requests a new TMSI every time i switch phonenumber with simemu, then the service providers surely must realize that something is wrong.

Hi hakthu,

Not necessary....

The TMSI only changes when you change of LAC (zone of antennas, make a call or every 2 days).

If you switch off your phone and switch on the phone in 10 or 15 minutes the TMSI donīt change....

You can try this if you can see the log of season2 of the comunication....

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.

That's why i want to know if simemu is capable of keeping my TMSIs of my different phonenumbers, not trying to use the same number for diffrent phonenumbers

PS My current TMSI on my original sim has been the same atleast since 19/2. DS

Hi hakthu,

If need this, the SIMEMU need duplicate the LOC file (equals the IMSI file 7F20:6F07) and made one for every IMSI.

The SIMEMU donīt work now with this duplication.

Perhaps if you ask for this to SIMEMU, he make this changes in to the emulator....

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.
PD: If donīt change of LAC zone the TMSI is the same since more time... depends of the operator.

The SIM-EMU stores one LOCI for each position, but I had to clear the contents of this file in the execution of the "Sel.Phone #" option and in the change of the configuration of a position for compatibilies reason between phones (some phones does not registers the new network if it is not done).

In case of change of number using Reset or power off and on with another PIN, the corresponding LOCI is used.

Thank you simemu

Last night i took a look in the netmonitor and saw that each entry had its own TMSI, which was reused when switching between entrys. Only one provider seemed to change TMSI on every signon, but so did the org. sim so obviously its up to the providers system.

Btw my phone doesn't support "Sel.Phone #" so i use *3370# which i this case was better. thanx for a lovely piece of S/W.
