I am able to get the 6555b into "Test Mode", I connect it to the PC using the CA-101 microUSB cable, the Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers install all the relevant drivers, I open up NSS and run it in Virtual USB Device mode, I switch to the Phone Info tab and hit Scan and I get "Scan For Product... Error!" and nothing else.
If I install and try to use Nokia PC Suite 6.86.9.3 it will get to the point where it is trying to locate the phone over the USB connection and then return an error "Phone Not Recognized" and an error code.
I know it's not the USB ports I am using nor the cable as I have tested those on another 6555b and they both work perfectly.
I think the problem might be that the phone is not switching into "PC Suite Mode" or "USB Mode" but I haven't found a way to change the phones USB mode.
Can anyone here provide any insight into the problem I am experiencing?
