finding Ki with sim scan

I use F5-F1 in sim scan and after 7 hours I got

is this ok ? (not finshed I stopped)
it should be all over in aprox 3 hours with 3.57 MHz resonator

You have a SIM card with COMP128 v2. For the moment you can´t clone this card...

That was italian Wind card for testing my reader :)

I have changed resonator from 3.57 MHz to 10.00 Mhz and got :

Fatal error : Card don't send Answer To Reset

Is it possible that the reason for this is that I used 10.00 MHz resonator , insted 10.70 MHz for boud rate 28800 bps

Hi sPoK,

Yes that is. 10Mhz is not valid because normaly the divisor of the Card (this is in the ATR data) are 372.

3,579384 x1. 000.000 = 3.579.384 hz

3.579.384 hz / 372 = 9622 (more less 9600 bauds).

The same for the 10.70 Mhz.... but if you put a 10Mhz the tolerance is big to work....

Yes that was the reason , I put back 3.57 MHz resonator and it's working ok, I read Ki from 2 cards in aprox 2 hours each

Between I download your Xsim v0.02 and I have some problems , it can't find device ( my reader ), I tried all settings to change but same result , no device found . Any sugestion ...

What is your device? Dejan Device?

The version 0.02 only works with phoenix device and 3.57Mhz crystal...

Yes it's Dejen device,
does Xsim v0.01 work with Dejan device, and if it does, please, where I can find , it seems a very good non Dos soft

The version 0.02 have problems with Dejan device. :(

I think this problem is not very complicated. I have pending to resolve. I have a Dejan device and If i can I try this weekend the XSim.

I hope in the 0.03 version this works well.
