help with cect i9+ phone

hello evryone i am 99% sure my phone is a cect i9+ ( this phone was bought for me as a gift i came to this concultion because under the battery it says i9+ and it seems to have most of the fetures such as dule active sims) however some fetures seem to not work such as the shake togle and such also i was wondering if anyone knows where and how to download new firmware and is it free do i have to by it? also i was wondering if anyone knows how to change the incomeing call pictures i cant seem to find that option i just have the picture of the earth thanks for the help.

i dont know if it would help but under the battery it has a silver sticker that says i9+ with a barcode under it and an IMEI number.
