50 rebel sim card failed to unlock Telcel or Movistar Mexico - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I bought 50 rebel sim cards for unlock iPhone 3G, firmware 2.2.1, baseband 2.30.03, and any works with mexican operators Telcel or Movistar Mexico.

how can I fix this?

Already tried in many ways, 3G off, data roaming off, airplane mode on later off, and nothing, don´t work.

In the past i bought gevey sim card and all work perfectly with mexican operators, without any problem.

Please help me.

Not, i don't have a programmer for test, i will buy one in the next days.

Any usb sim programmer will work?

I have the programmer, the rebel cards don´t can be reprogrammed. Is probably have a internal damage or is a fake.

the proxy sim is very thin, in order to make contact in sim reader/programmer u must make it thicker, I use an old sim card with removed contacts, so this old sim cannot be read by programmer, only the proxy sim can.
put them together in the programmer, if it is too thick then u remove some of the material of the old sim.
Now the rebel sim make contact with pkey and can be programmed. make sure no other usb is used for anything.
