Dead SLik.. Unknown flash type. Pls Help
Hello peoples.
Subj is
Dead Slik, Unisiemens work ok, but write "Flash One ID: 0002, Type: 0000; Flash Two ID: 6CD4, Type: 0000
" Why Type 0000???? I don`t understand... When I try to use other software it say me something near " Flash not supported"
Siemens unlock write "COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is powered on
COMM_IsBootRunning : unknown flash id 0002"
...
Winswup write "Unknown Flashcode B990"
..
I try to use LC files but when I try to upload "corrected" LC file, get message " Unsupported flash configuration Flash HC=41B2B4"

Then I try many attemps, try All3/4 software, by it say " Unknow flash type" and nothing do.. May be information about flash ID damaged? Because Unisiemens work. It write and read flash, so I think that Flash chips are Ok.. And this is software error..


Pls help!... May be any have some idea?

Sorry if it´s a stupid question... Did you try to remap after using Unisiemens?

Of course.. Log Reader read phone, detect it ID. I write Log, then make MAP, but when try to upload MAP to Phone.. It`s Loging to Phone, and freez on operation " Writing new IMEI" I wait 10 minuts, and try again, but always results one.. Freezing on Writing new Imei..
Then I try KOSI ver 5.1 software, but it write Unssupoerted Flash id 0002

Reball Flash, maybe you have hardware damaged balls on BGA Flash...

Did you already tried to upload clean EEprom?
And the remap it?

Open chassing
try to reflow with hot air cpu or eeprom area.
and then use all3/4 sw to flash it, so remap if you have no pro dongle. :)

If all above can not solve, you have to change the flash ID, I think you should go to service center to repaird.

I am sure this is hardware problem- flash IC is dead or needs resoldering. I had the same problem. after replacement the flash IC and SW repair-all ok
